DIY or BUY: Day- Of Emergency Kit

I remember a few years back, one of my girlfriends was getting ready for her big day. The photographer was there taking pictures and out came the one sound no bride wants to hear– a loud POP! To all of our shock and dismay a button had come undone. Luckily, she had an emergency wedding kit which included a needle and thread and a bridesmaid was able to sew the button back on the dress.

Hopefully, you won’t have a need for an emergency wedding kit BUT it’s always better to be safe than sorry! It is so important to have those items (just-in-case) to make sure your wedding goes off without a hang-up.

Your emergency wedding kit should be packed and placed in a safe but easy-to-access place during the wedding and reception. If you’re not the DIY type, don’t worry there are premade ones available too!

If you’re making your own emergency kit, here’s a list of essential (and some optional) items to pack:

  • Tweezers: You never know if you’ll have stray hairs or clumped lashes. Tweezerman Slant Tweezers, $23 Tweezerman
