I'll never forget Marilyn and Justin's big day. They were the very first couple I had the opportunity to work with as Petals and Parties. They will always have a special place in my heart as my first wedding. I am so grateful for these two and I owe so much to them!

The day began in a traditional and elegant church; no better setting for their big day. The ceremony was filled with so many rich religious and cultural components. One of which was the Manthrakodi (pronounced mund-thra-co-dee); a sari gifted to the new bride from the groom's family. The Manthrakodi is blessed by the priest and placed on the bride's head as a symbol of the love and care that the groom promises to give the bride.

Once M+J were pronounced husband and wife, the church erupted with cheers. The guests soon arrived at Villa Lombardi's, their stunning reception venue. After cocktail hour, the guests entered the pristine ballroom filled with elaborate high floral centerpieces and a decorative stage.

The night was filled with heartfelt speeches, surprise choreographed dances, and rich cultural traditions. There was no denying the love between the couple, it was tangible and felt by all throughout the room.

M+J thank you so much for trusting Petals and Parties. Working together on your wedding was so special to me, both personally and professionally.
